Forgot how children and cats have different views of the world
Our year and half old daughter, Enide, was sitting on the floor, carefully taking her toy stacker boxes out of each another, and spacing the the boxes equal distances apart around her. Our fattest and furriest cat, Calypso, was laying almost directly next to her with her eyes closed as if trying to sleep. After removing a few boxes, Enide reached over and grabbed a handful of fur from Calypso. She put it in one of the boxes then covered it with a smaller box that also fit in. Calypso just looked at her without making a sound and closed her eyes again. Both continued on as if nothing unusual happened.
